Après Ski Guide
This winter may look a little different, but the spirit of celebration remains the same. With outdoor patios and fresh mountain air, you don't have to miss out on the sunshine and sips with your small group.
Ingredients For A Memorable Après
1. The CompanyThe après is only as good as the people you're with. Whether you're on the patio of Lynn Britt Cabin, taking in the views at the Sundeck, or enjoying the new wine bar at The Little Nell, you make the après memorable. Bring your small group and enjoy the celebration
2. An open mindAt Cloud Nine Alpine Bistro on Aspen Highlands, they usually start popping the corks around 1pm. The champagne will be taking a break during the 2020 - 2021 season in order to keep our guests, employees, and community safe. We will be returning to Cloud Nine's roots for this winter and providing a unique alpine dining experience with incredible views. Enjoy the après of yester-year that is sure to be unique to this season of change.
3. Location, Location, LocationLocation is everything. As you ski down Little Nell on Aspen Mountain, you’ll see its namesake hotel and what appears to be a sprawling party taking place on the patio. That would be the famous Ajax Tavern, Aspen’s top spot to see and be seen … and eat truffle fries with a locally brewed draft beer in the fresh air and sunshine.
4. Always Something NewBecause the scene is so dynamic and ever-changing, you'll find something new and exciting to enjoy every year you return to Aspen Snowmass. Recent additions to the après-ski scene in Aspen include The Wine Bar. The Little Nell's former après-ski bar, Chair 9, will transform into a vibrant wine bar this winter season, offering intimate seating areas and an extensive list of wines by the glass.
