At the top of Buttermilk with panoramic views of the dramatic Pyramid Peak and the entire Maroon Creek Valley is Cliffhouse. The make-your-own Mongolian BBQ pairs well with a fresh made juice — you pick your fruit! Also on the menu: Thai tea and high-protein grab-and-go snacks like super-food grain salads and energy bars inspired by Tiehack uphillers.



Meat All Seven Aspen Snowmass Signature Burgers

At Aspen Snowmass, we offer seven signature burgers across our four mountains. Whether you’re seeking a classic cheeseburger or a tasty twist on your patty, each burger is crafted using grass-fed beef and offers a nod to the eateries in which they’re served. Try all seven burgers at Aspen Snowmass this season. Participating restaurants include: Buttermilk Mountain Lodge, Cliffhouse, Elk Camp, High Alpine, Ullrhof, Merry-Go-Round, and Sundeck.

Cliffhouse Signature Burger

An extension of the Cliffhouse’s Asian cuisine, this banh mi-style burger includes two locally raised, grass-fed beef patties and Asian BBQ pork belly layered with Vietnamese marinade, house-pickled vegetables, and kimchi sriracha mayonnaise served on a brioche bun.

Uphill skiers at Aspen Snowmass
The Cliffhouse restaurant, located at the top of Buttermilk Mountain, plays host to a Friday Morning Uphill Breakfast Club in which uphill skiers will be able to enjoy french toast, oatmeal, or breakfast fried rice in the restaurant after hiking up the mountain.

The Cliffhouse breakfast will be available for purchase from 8:45 a.m.-10 a.m. with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and other beverages!

Full Moon Dinners

Full Moon Dinners
Skin or hike up Tiehack on Buttermilk under the full moon to dinner at Cliffhouse. Get there early to enjoy free hot chocolate from 5-6pm around the Cowboy Cauldron over a roaring fire. À la carte dinner options, snacks and a cash bar will be offered inside Cliffhouse.

No lift/vehicular access. All guests must skin/hike up and ski/snowboard/hike down. No sleds of any kind. Ascend the designated uphill route on Tiehack. Descend the designated route.
