Mandatory Race Gear

- Shovel
- Probe
- Helmet
- Backpack
- Windshell*
- Buff/neck gaiter*
* These do not have to be worn at all times. A Course Marshall or Race Official may require you to put either/both on at any time.
Gear Check
Prior to receiving your GPS unit and heading to the start line you and your teammate must undergo a gear check together. Gear checks will begin at 5am inside the Treehouse at Snowmass Base Village for the Sport Course and 7:15am at the start area for the Rec Course. Please allow for plenty of time to get through the check.
