The Audi Power of Four Race Series is a premier endurance race series utilizing the unique and amazing terrain of each of the four Aspen Snowmass mountains. Each race is designed to test the limits and skills of both elite and recreational athletes.

SCHEDULE
Power of Four and Two - Saturday, March 5
Sport Course: 6am at Snowmass Base Village
Recreational Course: 8am at Aspen Highlands Base Village (base of Thunder Bowl)

There will be a new finish line this year at 1A instead of finishing at the base of the Sliver Queen Gondola. Racers will cross over The Little Nell at the bottom of Bell Chair to finish down Schuss Gully.

COVID-19 Protocols

  • This year’s athlete meeting will be held via Zoom at a date TBD prior to race week.
  • Packet pick up – athlete bags and bibs will be prepackaged and a staggered schedule for pick up will be sent out prior to race week.
  • On Race day, the starts will be staggered in an effort to avoid large gatherings of athletes.
  • Aid stations – supplies will be prepackaged. We encourage all athletes to take a much more self-sustained approach for this year’s race.
  • A mask or buff will be required at all times for all athletes and staff.
  • Please adhere to standard social distancing protocols throughout the race by giving ample room for teams to pass and avoiding congregating in groups at start lines and aid stations.
  • No spectators will be allowed at the start lines.
  • An electronic form will be provided for race day symptom self-check for each athlete.
  • Athlete waivers will be provided electronically prior to race day.
  • We ask that all athletes refrain from congregating at the finish line. There will be no finish line “party” at this year’s event Awards will be mailed out post-race.

Skiers climb Highland Bowl during the Audi Power of Four Ski Mountaineering Race

The Audi Power of Four Ski Mountaineering Race is the winter edition of the series. The event tests athlete’s endurance as they race in teams of two across all four area mountains. The grueling course covers 24 miles and more than 10,000 vertical feet of climbs. Teams start in Snowmass Village, traverse to West Buttermilk, then on to Aspen Highlands where they ski over to Aspen Mountain and end at the 1A lift.
