Disc Golf At Snowmass

Try your hand at one of the fastest growing sports at the top of the Elk Camp Gondola. Located in the Lost Forest, the Aerial Approach disc golf course is one of a kind. In Snowmass, you'll find the first — and only — place in Colorado to boast two 18-hole courses.

  • Disc golf is available on Snowmass daily between 10:00am–4:30pm.
  • You must bring your own discs. Discs are available for rent at Four Mountain Sports Base Village
  • The second, longer course is located on the west side of the mountain. To get to the first tee it takes about 30 minutes to walk from Base Village. For directions, please ask at Four Mountain Sports.

Disc Golf At Aspen Mountain

Play one of the world's highest official disc golf course — it's a hike, and a game, in one fun outing! The top 9 holes are ideal for casual disc golfers, but if you want a challenge, add on the infamous back 9 for a full round of 18.

  • Disc golf is available on Aspen Mountain daily between 10:30am–3:30pm.
  • You must bring your own discs. Discs are available for rent at Four Mountain Sports.

Get Tickets

Disc Golf is free but, to access the Disc Golf courses at Elk Camp in Snowmass and Aspen Mountain, you will need a lift ticket. There are several options that include lift access including Sightseeing Tickets, Packages, or Sightseeing Season Passes. Click below to learn more. Disc Golf Regulations

  • Respect - Please respect the pedestrians, bikers, and other participants in the area around the course. Do not throw when others are in the path of your shot.
  • Tee Shots - Players must throw from within the designated tee area.
  • Other Shots - The forward foot, at the time of release, must be placed where the disc previously landed.
  • Putts - must remain within the chain area or in the basket to be good.
  • Etiquette - The player furthest from the hole is the one that should shoot or put first. Do not distract others when they are taking their throws.
  • Sustainability - Protect the environment. Please keep the area clean.
