The Environment Foundation board recruits committed Aspen Skiing Company employees. Find details about the role below, and check back in January for board openings!


The board has three primary roles: to fundraise, to determine worthy recipients of grant funds, and to serve as an ambassador of the Foundation to fellow employees and the community. Time commitment per year:

Maximum of 4 site visits or conversations w/ grantees (1.5 hrs each)
Maximum of 2 organizational meetings (1.5 hrs each)
Four to six grant reviews (3-5 hrs each)
Two grant meetings (3 hrs each)
Attendance at one Pro Fair or New Hire Orientation (1-2 hrs)
Serving beer at CORE Party in March – Foundation fundraiser to pay for SWAG (3 hrs)
PLEASE NOTE: all board meetings begin between 4 and 4:30pm.

Board members will be elected to serve 3-year terms. All ASC employees who are Foundation donors and have worked at the company for at least one year are eligible to serve on the Environment Foundation board.
