2025 Registration
Advance registration is required. There will be no race day registration. This year we will have 3 divisions - 50 Mile Solo Racer, 25 Mile Solo Racer, and 50 Mile Team of 2 where each team member does a single lap in a relay.| Event | Early Until 5/02 | Regular Until 7/12 | Late After 7/12 |

Racer Check In & Bib Pickup
All racers must check in on Friday, July 25 between 4 PM and 7 PM in the Hall at The Collective Snowmass (49 Wood Rd, Snowmass Village, CO). This venue is located in Snowmass Base Village.The easiest access is from the 30-minute parking near the Treehouse Adventure Center or the 1-hour parking in the One Snowmass Lot. If those are full, use the Base Village Parking Garage.
Racers must check in to receive their bike plate. If you’re unable to make it Friday, morning-of check-in is available—but please arrive at least 30 minutes before your race start time. A friend or family member is welcome to check in on your behalf.

Finish
All divisions will finish at the same location on Fanny Hill just above the concert stage near the Snowmass Mall.Cut-off time
Racers competing in the 50 Mile events will need to begin their second lap by 11AM otherwise you will not be allowed to continue for safety reasons. Racers arriving at Town Park after 1 PM will be transported back to the start/finish via vehicle. If you reach Elk Camp Restaurant after 3 PM, racers will need to take the gondola back to the start/finish area.Parking/Transportation
Free parking is available in the Snowmass Parking Garage. Please remove bikes from roof racks before entering. Additional free parking is located at the Brush Creek Park and Ride at the intersection of Highway 82 and Brush Creek Road, as well as at Town Park. Complimentary buses run from both lots to Snowmass Mall and Base Village.
The start line is a short walk or ride uphill from the parking garage in Base Village. For spectators, the free Sky Cab (Skittles) Gondola operates between Base Village and the Mall from 9 AM to 9 PM.
Course Marking
The course is marked with pink directional signage and black and pink tape. Please review the course description ahead of race day. There will be at least one detour in place to route around active construction. Follow on-site signage for the safest and most direct way back to the main trail.Aid Stations
There are three full aid stations located at Town Park, the intersection of Dust Bunny and the Elk Camp work road, and the start/finish area on Fanny Hill. Additional water-only stations will be available at the top of Powerline and Sinclair Road.Full aid stations will offer water, Skratch Hydration Mix, Coca-Cola, Skratch Labs bars and chews, bananas, chips, and candy. Racers should plan to carry enough to get from one aid station to the next without outside support.
Please dispose of all trash at designated aid stations or carry it with you in a bag or pocket. Do not discard trash along the trail. Bike pumps will be available at aid stations, but racers should bring any additional tools or supplies needed in case of a mechanical issue.
If you would like to bring your own aid station supplies, you are welcome to drop a labeled bag at the start. We will transport bags to Town Park. Bags left at Town Park will be returned to the finish area after the race. If you are finished with your bag at Town Park, place it in the designated return area.
Race Rules
- Stay on designated trails. No cutting switchbacks. Racers caught short-cutting will be disqualified.
- Headphones are allowed, but please be mindful when entering aid stations and crossing other trails or roads. These trails remain open to the public and may include other runners, hikers, and cyclists. Rock out responsibly.
- If you choose to drop out of the race, notify the nearest course marshal. This helps us keep everyone accounted for and prevents unnecessary calls to your emergency contact.
- If you need to relieve yourself, please use a restroom. Facilities are available at the start/finish area, Town Park, and Elk Camp Restaurant. If that’s not possible, please use discretion and step well off the trail.
Prizes & Awards
All racers will receive a custom gift. The top 3 finishers in each gender will be awarded medals at the podium ceremony at the finish.
Prize money will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in each gender for the 50 Mile Solo division - 1st - $500, 2nd - $250, 3rd - $125.
Normal Mountain Operations
We ask each racer to keep in mind that Snowmass will be open to guests as usual starting at 10am so please be respectful of the general public on the trails and aware of other users.
Racer Safety
For the safety of every racer, each athlete is required to notify the closest course marshal of any injury or racer who appears to have ventured off-course ASAP. We will have plenty of medical staff available to assist along the course.
Refund Policy
Entry fees will be refunded ONLY to athletes with a valid medical reason under the following provisions: Entry fees will be refunded if requested 1 week prior to first day of event onsite registration. Participants must have a valid medical reason and documentation, each case will be reviewed. A 25% service charge will be deducted from all refunds. All refunds are at the sole discretion of Aspen Snowmass. Absolutely no refunds will be given after the above date regardless of reason and no refunds will be given due to event cancellation. Registrations are non-transferable.
