Aspen Olympians Sendoff Celebration

Gondola Plaza | January 28th, 2026 | 4PM

Aspen has produced more than 25 Olympians across generations, and this special sendoff honors both past Olympians and the local athletes heading into the 2026 Winter Olympics in Cortina. The celebration will include remarks from community leaders, recognition of Aspen’s Olympic legacy, and the official sendoff of 2026 Olympians Alex Ferreira (Freeski Halfpipe), Jessie Young (Ski Mountaineering) and Hailey Swirbul (Cross-Country).

This is a community celebration—open to all—recognizing the athletes, coaches, families, and supporters who make Aspen’s Olympic story possible.
