Buttermilk Bacon Day & Surfside Pond Skim CANCELLED

Buttermilk is now closed for the 2025-2026 winter season as of March 25.

CANCELLED, Buttermilk is now closed for the 2025-2026 winter season.

On Thursday, March 26, Panda Peak will operate for the Shining Stars race and Summit Express will run for the Revolution Tour at Aspen Snowmass Open. These lifts are operating for event use only, and there will not be public access to the mountain.

Buttermilk Mountain Lodge will stay open for restrooms and lunch on Thursday, March 26, and Friday, March 27, until 2:30 pm and the bar until 4 pm.

We’re grateful for another season at Buttermilk, from first turns at Panda Peak to hosting events like the Snow League and the 25th year of X Games Aspen. Thank you to our guests, athletes and community, and to the teams across the mountain whose work made the season possible.
