Celebrate Buttermilk's closing day, on April 5th, with this unique all-things-bacon event.

In celebration of Buttermilk’s closing day, the mountain hosts an annual Bacon Appreciation Day featuring a schedule of all things bacon, including bacon samplers around the mountain until it runs out.

Join us for bacon creations by the Buttermilk Mountain Lodge in the plaza at 8:30am, and on-mountain bacon treats start at 10:30am, while supplies last. Stop by Buttermilk Mountain Lodge—including its après spot, The Backyard—and the Cliffhouse for even more bacon specials, DJ sets, bands, and libations. Local band, 8th St Bus Stop, kicks off the après with music until 2pm. Watch the annual Rail Jam from 2pm-4pm at the base with a DJ bumping music until 6pm. Beats and bacon at Buttermilk make for a memorable, family-friendly Sunday!

Bacon Stations: Bottom of West, Top of West, Lower Homestead Road, No Problem Cabin, Patrol Headquarters, Bottom of Tiehack and Main Buttermilk Plaza in the afternoon.
