Rules And Regulations
Breathtaker Coaster
Driver requirements:
- Between 54 inches and 84 inches tall (137/213 centimeters)
- Must be physically able to maintain seated position and use safety restraints
- Capable of understanding and obeying all verbal and written instructions
- Capable of visually identifying sled in front of them to maintain safe following distance
- Able to operate brake levers to control the speed of the sled
- Driver must be 16 years or older to pilot sled with passenger
Passenger requirements:
- At least 38 inches/97 centimeters tall
- Must be shorter than the driver
- Capable of holding onto front handle while sled is in motion
- Total passenger (max of 2) weight for sled cannot exceed 375 pounds/170 kilograms in dry conditions, 330/150 kilograms in wet conditions
Participant rules:
- Both Driver and Passenger must have a Breathtaker Alpine Coaster ticket to ride
- Must sign a release of liability waiver
- All loose clothing and hair below shoulder length shall be secured prior to starting the ride
- No food or gum is allowed on the ride
- Participants must remain seated at all times and keep their arms and legs inside the sled for the duration of the ride
- Driver must maintain at least 80 feet/24 meters in dry conditions and 160 feet/48 meters in wet conditions between their sled and the sled in front of them on the track
- Stopping on the track is only permitted in the event of an emergency
- No backpacks or bags allowed on the ride
Health requirements:
- Guests who are under the influence of drugs or alcohol of any kind (including marijuana) may not participate in this activity
- Guests with the following medical conditions may not participate in this activity:
- Pregnant or think they may be pregnant
- Heart condition
- Seizure condition
- History of back or neck injury
- Any other medical condition that prevents guests from following the safety rules and guidelines

Climbing Wall
Participant requirements:
- At least 36 inches/91 centimeters tall
- Between 22 and 330 pounds (10/150 kilograms)
- Capable of understanding and obeying all verbal instructions from staff
Participant rules:
- Must wear closed-toe shoes to partake in the activity
- Must sign a release of liability waiver
- No food or gum is allowed
- No lead climbing is allowed on the wall
Health requirements:
- Guests who are under the influence of drugs or alcohol of any kind (including marijuana) may not participate in this activity
- Guests with the following medical conditions may not participate in this activity:
- Pregnant or think they may be pregnant
- Heart condition
- Seizure condition
- History of back or neck or spinal injury
- Any other medical condition that prevents guests from following the safety rules and guidelines

Treeline Trial
Participant requirements:
- Children 11 and under must be accompanied by someone that is at least 16 years old. The ratio is 2 children (11 and under) to 1 adult (age 16+).
- Between 48 inches and 78 inches tall (122/198 centimeters) and able to reach to at least 66"
- Weigh between 50 pounds/22 kilograms and 250 pounds/113 kilograms
- Able to ambulate under one's own power or with assistance of a companion on uneven terrain for distances of 0.25 miles/0.4 kilometers at a time
- Capable of understanding and obeying all verbal and written instructions
- Able to ambulate on a 3/8 inch/1 centimeter wire or similar obstacle alone or with the assistance of a companion
- Complete the required orientation session aka Ground School
- Proper fit and use of personal protective equipment
- Be able to self-arrest and self-rescue (regain position on element after falling off)
Participant rules:
- Must wear closed-toe shoes to partake in the activity
- Must sign a release of liability waiver
- No food or gum is allowed on the course
- All personal effects must be firmly secured on person
- Must wear ALL required personal protective equipment in accordance with manufacture's recommendations
- Capable of successfully passing ground school instruction provided
- No backpacks or bags are allowed to be carried on course
- Activity only available during established operating hours with the presence of qualified staff
Health requirements:
- Guests who are under the influence of drugs or alcohol of any kind (including marijuana) may not participate in this activity
- Guests with the following medical conditions may not participate in this activity:
- Pregnant or think they may be pregnant
- Heart condition
- Seizure condition
- History of back or neck injury
Important information:
Any other medical condition that prevents guests from following the safety rules and guidelinesOrientation sessions run every 30 minutes at :00 and :30 past the hour, starting at 10:30am and ending at 2:00pm. Guests must select the date and time for their orientation at the time of purchase. There is a maximum of 8 participants per orientation session. Guests should plan to arrive at Snowmass Base Village to check-in outside the Gondola Ticket Office and board the gondola at least 30 minutes prior to their orientation start time. The last opportunity to begin a course is 4:00pm.
Returning guests also need to select the date and time to begin their session at the time of purchase, but only need to go through orientation once per summer.

Canopy Run
Participant requirements:
- 16+ years old or accompanied by an adult
- Between 48 inches and 78 inches tall (122/198 centimeters)
- Weigh between 70 and 250 pounds (32/113 kilograms)
- Able to ambulate under one's own power or with assistance of a companion on uneven terrain for distances of 0.5 miles/0.8 kilometers at a time
- Able to raise arms above head and grasp cable to brake while riding zipline
- Capable of understanding and obeying all verbal and written instructions
- Pass Ground School
- Proper fit and use of personal protective equipment
Participant rules:
- Must wear closed-toe shoes to partake in the activity
- Must sign a release of liability waiver
- No food or gum is allowed
- All personal effects must be firmly secured on person
- Must wear ALL required personal protective equipment in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations
- No backpacks or bags are allowed to be carried on course
- Activity only available during established operating hours with the presence of qualified staff

Important information:
- Entire tour may take between 2.5 and 3 hours to complete
- Participants will be accompanied by two guides across 3 skybridges, 7 ziplines and 3 rappels to complete the course
- Maximum height off ground is approximately 90 feet/27 meters. Final rappel is from an approximate hight of 90 feet/27 meters
- Bathrooms only available at the beginning and end of the tour, please plan accordingly

Completely unused Lost Forest Base, or Sightseeing tickets are refundable. Lost Forest Canopy, Treeline, and Bonus Night Tickets require 48-hour cancellation notice. No refunds due to weather if operations remain open. No partial refunds.
