Each Bonus Bike Night will feature a special local's clinic from 5pm - 7pm, for just $50. Clinics will focus on different aspects and techniques of mountain biking: braking, cornering, descending, jumping, or whatever else you may need help with. We get it. You already know how to ride a bike. Maybe you want to keep up with your friends, maybe you want to learn how to jump, maybe you want more confidence? We can help. We will see what the group wants to do, pick a focus, and then work on that for the evening. Here are some examples of what you may focus on:

Want to build confidence and speed while turning your bike? Join one of our experienced bike pros from the Snowmass Bike Park Bike School for this Local’s Clinic. You will learn how to tip your bike and carve through corners, increasing traction between the dirt and your tires.Understanding effective body position will allow you to corner at higher speeds, with more comfort. Your friends won’t be able to keep up with you!

Do you wish you were more comfortable in the air? This is the clinic for you! Come learn how to Crouch, Press, and Release your bike into the air and set yourself up for a smooth landing. All abilities are welcome from learning how to get “credit card air” (the height of a credit card) to practicing higher level tricks on our biggest jumps. Our simple and logical progression keeps risk at a minimum while increasing your air, comfort, and style on every trail you ride.

Ever been on a trail and come across a drop? What do you do? How do you do it? If you want to learn how to drop, let us teach you how to perform the lunge-style drop. This will help you keep the rubber side down and build the confidence to ride the rocks and roots that may have stopped you in the past. All skills and ability levels are welcome from learning how to clear a downed tree to hitting a Snowmass Bike Park drop feature.
