Alpin Room to Pause for the Winter 2020-2021 Season
In light of recent local health ordinances and uncertainty with restaurant capacities, Aspen Snowmass has made the decision to pause the opening of the new Alpin Room sit-down fine dining restaurant on Snowmass for the winter 2020-21 season. The
High Alpine marketplace portion of the restaurant will remain open with stations serving freshly prepared pizza, homemade soups and stews, fresh salads, grilled burgers, and more.
By delaying the opening of Alpin Room, this transfers more seats to High Alpine, which offers quick-serve food options, in an effort to offer breakfast and lunch to as many people as possible daily.
“While we were looking forward to offering a new restaurant concept in Snowmass this winter, Alpin Room has no outdoor seating, so we decided it was best to use the current layout of the High Alpine marketplace portion of the restaurant to capitalize on seats for our guests,” says Jim Butchart, culinary director for Aspen Snowmass’s on-mountain dining. “The marketplace restaurant offers many options for spaced seating, quick-serve and to-go food options, outdoor decks and room for our guests to spread out based on current capacity limitations.”
Alpin Room will debut for the winter 2021-2022 season.
