Ask those who have skied Aspen Mountain what it is like, and you are likely to hear them talk about the dining at some point. The après ski at Ajax Tavern is world-famous for good reason. Up top, the Sundeck* takes in one of Colorado’s very best mountaintop views, while Bonnie’s and Element 47 anchor opposite — yet unique Aspen — ends of the dining spectrum.
Our restaurants are adapting to give you opportunities to dine safely with your group. In order to adhere to safety regulations, our on-mountains restaurants will only be available for market-style grab and go offerings and to-go orders through the Aspen Snowmass App. At Aspen Mountain, these dining options include the Sundeck. As of February 13, all Aspen Skiing Company restaurants will be be open at 50% capacity or 50 people, whichever is less. This will allow more people to dine inside when the weather dictates. We still recommend preordering meals and taking advantage of expanded outdoor seating on decks, in open air tents and in public spaces for dining. Tables are limited to two household use only and no group larger than 10 people. Use online ordering and Qless technology available on the Aspen Snowmass App to minimize wait times and have the best experience. Ruthie’s on Aspen Mountain will be open this winter as a warming hut, but will not offer any food services. Picnic tables have been added across the four mountains as spots to rest and eat during sunny Colorado days.
