Aspen Snowmass App: New Features For 2018–2019
In a world of “if it’s not on strava, did it even happen?” documenting your adventure is just as important as checking it off your bucket list. With the Aspen Snowmass App, you can not only can track your stats, but access all the information about snow totals, grooming, events, activities, and more that you need to plan your day while lapping your favorite runs.
Picture This ...
You’re on vacation with two of your friends. You wake up, throw on your gear, and check last night’s snowfall in the Aspen Snowmass App while you make coffee. It looks like Aspen Highlands had the most snowfall (12 inches!), so you head out the door and sip your coffee on the way to the mountain. On the lift ride up, you check in the app to see which runs are open and groomed so you can get in a few warm-up laps before you hike Highland Bowl. Before you hop off the lift, you turn on tracking and hit the slopes!
After a few runs and the hike up Highland Bowl, you and your friends grab a burger and a beer at Merry-Go-Round. Everyone compares their vertical feet stats in the app. The loser (you) buys another round of beers for the table. Luckily you’ve got a $10 food & beverage credit in your app Rewards account, so you break even anyway. Better luck next time! You check the app to see what events are happening tonight and see that Core Party starts at 6pm. You and your friends head back to your hotel to get ready before the concert and the party begins!
