U.S Alpine Tech Championship as Aspen Snowmass

U.S Alpine Tech Championships

Aspen Highlands & Snowmass | March 28 - 31, 2020

Due to the recently enacted European travel restrictions, and ongoing concerns in the United States and our valley regarding COVID-19, U.S. Ski & Snowboard is canceling all remaining U.S. domestic events including the NASTAR Nationals and U.S Alpine Tech Championship.

We are excited to announce that after 60 years the U.S Alpine Tech Championships will return to Aspen Snowmass! Aspen Highlands and Snowmass are set to host this elite race with some of the best U.S Ski Team athletes.

The last time Aspen Snowmass hosted a U.S. Alpine Tech Championships was 60 years ago, but ski racing runs deep in the Roaring Fork Valley, as Aspen Snowmass not only hosted the first World Championships outside of Europe in 1950, but has been a continuous stop on the World Cup circuit for both the men and women. We most recently hosted the 2017 Audi FIS Ski World Cup Finals.

For the first time, NASTAR National Championships will take place at the same venue as U.S Alpine Tech Championships. This will allow the top NASTAR racers to have the unique opportunity to compete side-by-side with the best American ski racing athletes as U.S Ski Team members set the pace for NASTAR National Championships.
