CAMP ASPEN/SNOWMASS:  June 2 - August 29, 2008
An adventurous Aspen/Snowmass experience!

Enjoy the experience of a lifetime with all that Camp Aspen/Snowmass has to offer in the summer.

Camp Aspen/Snowmass provides a fun, dynamic environment and offers combinations of activities with daily and weekly programs available for ages 2.5 years through teens. Activities include mountainboarding, skateboarding, early season snowboarding/skiing, paintball and mountain biking. Weekend privates, an indoor skate ramp, theme and nature days, horseback riding, swimming and a variety of activity combinations make this a must-do summer adventure camp. Camp is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., June 2 - August 29, 2008, with drop-off locations in Snowmass and Aspen. Flexible scheduling is available by appointment.

Camp Aspen/Snowmass offers the following summer programs:

Junior Base Camp (Ages 3-4)
Three-year-olds join nature play groups while four-year-olds experience field trips to Hallam Lake and the gondola on Aspen Mountain, as well as walk-around horse rides and theme days.

Finally 5 Base Camp (Age 5)
Five-year-olds enjoy swimming, hiking, crafts, theme days, playing sports, and many other activities - all with other five-year-olds.

Base Camp (Ages 6-10)
Base campers participate in a variety of activities including theme days and crafts. Field trips include swimming, ice skating, hiking and more.

Ultimate Base Camp (Ages 6-10)
For the more adventurous kids, Ultimate Base Camp offers a variety of exciting activities including mountainboarding, skateboarding, horseback riding and fun field trips.

Adventure Series (Ages 7 - teens)
Children can create their own exciting adventures. They'll have a great time combining activities such as paintball, mountainboarding and skateboarding.

Glacier Camp (Ages 7 - 14)
The Snowmass Glacier Park will once again be where winter meets summer! Snowboarders/skiers ages 7-14 and levels 5 and up will learn park & pipe jibbing skills. Sessions are scheduled to begin June 4.

Mountainboarding & Skateboarding Privates (Ages 7 - teens)
Join the Ultimate Base Camp or Adventure Series for group mountainboarding and skateboarding lessons. Three-hour and six-hour private lessons are offered on Saturdays and Sundays, and are available Monday through Friday on a space-available basis. Call 877-282-7736 (970-923-1227) for reservations.

Rocket Camp (Ages 4-10)
Campers study, build, design and launch their own rockets during this 2 or 3-day series.

Coaching for the US Mountainboarding Championships
Mark the week of July 21 on your calendar for the 2008 US Open Mountainboarding Championships. For just $125/day, you can be coached by the pro riders! The excitement begins Wednesday, July 24 with ta day of Camp with the pro riders followed by the competition to be held at the end of the week (July 25-26). Location:  Camp Aspen/Snowmass is located the NEW Treehouse Adventure Center in Snowmass Village.  Free camp transportation from Aspen is available from the Yellow Brick Building located one block south of Paepke Park (corner of Aspen St. and Bleeker St.).
