June 3, 2021 Update –

Summer in the Roaring Fork Valley means mountain biking, fly fishing, rafting, hiking, and on-mountain dining, allowing us to experience the mountains just as skiing does in the winter. As we delight in this sun-filled season, we continue to see major changes across the board on all Covid metrics in our county and per CDC guidelines, capacity and social distancing rules have mostly been eliminated, but individuals are still required to follow rules implemented at a federal, state, and local level where applicable. In Aspen and Pitkin County, beginning Friday, June 4, mask restrictions will be lifted in all indoor and outdoor public settings. Festivals and sporting events are being scheduled, and some of our mountains will be open for summer operations, and we ask that all guests continue to keep themselves updated on rules surrounding specific events and venues.

As we move through the summer, this page will be updated with new details as they become available.

Masks Following existing Pitkin County Public Health regulations, face coverings in public indoor and outdoor settings are no longer required. Guests are encouraged to continue taking precautions and we recommend all guests are vaccinated before visiting. If individuals choose to wear masks, please respect their decision.

Lifts & gondolas Parties who feel more comfortable not sharing gondolas or lifts with other groups due to safety concerns are encouraged to let the lift operators know and separate lifts and gondolas will be made available.
