Can I still ski or ride at Buttermilk during the day without an X Games ticket?

Yes, skiing and snowboarding at Buttermilk are open to the public with a valid lift ticket or season pass during the day, but access to X Games base area venues requires a separate X Games ticket.

How can Aspen and Roaring Fork Valley high school students get free tickets to X Games Aspen 2026?

  • Each day, the first 500 local high school students on-site per day can secure access to one single day complimentary General Admission ticket to X Games Aspen for that day.
  • Students must arrive in person, head to the Buttermilk Ticket Office and show a current valid student ID from a Roaring Fork Valley high school.
  • Access to X Games Aspen base area venues require a valid X Games Aspen wristband. Skiing or riding is still accessible at Buttermilk during the day on a valid lift ticket or season pass.
  • Wristbands are non-transferable and cannot be sold or shared.
  • Each wristband is valid for the day it is issued only.
