The Meeting sessions are designed to inspire an interactive atmosphere of do-ers, think-outside-the-box-ers, creatives, strategists, entrepreneurs, and leaders in the outdoor and tech industries who want to network in an environment that ignites new ideas and cultivates old ones.

If mountain biking, paragliding, hiking, dinners, movies, new product testing, live music and listening to inspiring speakers sounds like your idea of "Networking" then The Meeting is for you. We've meticulously put together a roster of people you want meet, and the atmosphere you want to be in.

The interactive conversations over the two days will cover cross-platform digital marketing and content creation, brand activation, licensing and connecting action sports with the mainstream as well as explore new and emerging technology platforms.

Travis is widely considered one of the most influential, talented and visionary snowboarders in the sport’s history. Travis is part of the creative force behind the boundary-shattering films That’s It, That’s All and The Art of Flight — which represent a new era of craftsmanship in snowboard documentaries. His accolades are too numerous to list, but include National Geographic Adventurer of the Year, TransWorld’s Rider of the Year, X Games gold medalist and inaugural Supernatural champion. Rice will share his vision of adventure film making, snowboarding and some insider information from his current project with Red Bull Media House, The Fourth Phase, debuting worldwide on October 2, 2016.

A 12 year veteran at TEN, The Enthusiast network, Adam Cozens most recently led the marketing efforts for the 27 media brands under The Enthusiast Network's Sports and Entertainment division. In 2016, Adam shifted his prodigious focus to the Dew Tour, where he oversees the strategy and execution, daily operations and sales efforts for the well established action sports media platform. A former competitive snowboarder, Adam led the digital transition for Transworld Snowboarding Magazine, where he served as publisher from 2008-2012. Adam lives with his wife and two children in Carlsbad, California.

Denise was previously the Vice President of Social Media for Havas Formula and oversaw clients such as Dunkin Donuts, Thriven Racing, UV/PrairieVodka, Rojos Salsa and more. Beyond his countless snowboard first descents, Jones has also taken the lead in advocating for the preservation of the lifestyle, through his founding of Protect Our Winters (POW), working to reduce the effects of global climate change through educational, activist, and community based projects.

Wil Tidman

VP of Creative & Strategy, GoPro

Wil Tidman is the Vice President of Creative, Strategy and Original Productions for GoPro Entertainment. For over 20 years he has been a student, enthusiast and professional in the areas of marketing, film and photography. Throughout his career, Wil has created, written, directed and produced video content, feature films, network televised shows and web series. He has been called on by top global brands to build strategic marketing campaigns and content platforms. He lives in San Francisco with his wife Jill and their children Quincy Blu and Stella Rose.

Justin Faiber

Senior Manager, Sports Marketing, Pepsi Co.

Part of the PepsiCo in-house sports marketing team – Justin is responsible for overseeing all North American Action Sports and Motorsports programs and executions for the Mountain Dew brand. His diverse background, having worked on the Client, Agency, Property and Media side of the business over the course of his career, has given him a unique lens to look through when cultivating the Mountain Dew sports platforms, ranging from the Dew Tour to Snowboarding to Skateboarding to Racing.

Mike Chiavetta

Managing Partner, KIMBA Group

Michael "Chia" Chiavetta comes from a family of makers and gas fueled speeders. After college he went into startups and built asocial network for investors which hooked him up with a prototyping shop that built the #1 cloud based creative workflow platform exclusively for agencies, brands and creators. After working with agencies on the vendor side he was on the founding team of social and data at Chiat LA then bounced around Omnicom until starting his own shop, KIMBA. They focus on making content, not ads.

Kellie McElderry

Director of Sales & Marketing, The Orchard

Kellie McElderry is the Director of Sales & Marketing for The Orchard. Her over 10-years experience includes previous work at 20th Century Fox for groundbreaking films such as Avatar. As a leader in her field, Kellie specializes in hyping Film and TV releases through branding and promotions. She currently is working on distributing the Sundance favorite, Hunt for the Wilderpeople, and the highly anticipated, The Fourth Phase, to digital clients, including Amazon and iTunes. Kellie also enjoys photography in her spare time – a hobby that landed her photo being showcased at The Getty in Los Angeles.

Alyssa Roenigk


An author, broadcast journalist and senior writer for ESPN, Alyssa has covered the past six Olympics, multiple Super Bowls and more than 20 X Games in her 13 years with the company. Her feature writing and investigative work has appeared in cover stories for ESPN The Magazine, on and espnW, and on SportsCenter, X Games broadcasts, Good Morning America and Outside The Lines. For the past five years, she has worked as a TV reporter for X Games broadcasts and hosted several action sports shows on ESPN and ABC. Alyssa frequently serves as a guest speaker on panels and as a host for conferences and live events like the Nike Women¹s Marathon in San Francisco. Despite a career that has taken her around the world, from Pipeline to Mount Everest, she still laments her failed stint as a circus clown, at age 5, for the Flying Wilendas.

Bob Africa

CMO, PopSockets

Bob, an accomplished leader and change agent with 17+ years of brand building and marketing experience, joined PopSockets in July of 2016 as Chief Marketing Officer to lead their brand marketing and product merchandising efforts. Prior to joining PopSockets, Bob spent 6 years as President and CEO of the hip, collectible art toy company, Kidrobot, where he successfully restructured the brand returning it to profitability while maintaining its position as a leader in pop culture cool. Previous to Kidrobot, Bob held various leadership positions at some of the world’s leading brands including PearlIzumi, adidas, and Salomon Sports. An accomplished endurance athlete, Bob lends his time and expertise to growing the community of like-minded athletes under the Suffer Better banner, a group he co-founded in 2014. When not building brands Bob can be found enjoying time with his daughter, mentoring local business leaders and playing in Colorado’s high country.
