Everyone's favorite part of The Meeting is back, but the NEPSA AWARDS are getting a FACE LIFT this year! We still want content creators from the region to submit their footy from last season for a chance to win a cash purse but the format will be a little different.

NEW! NEPSA PHOTO CONTEST

Calling all local and regional photographers! This year, we're adding a gallery style, fan-judged, photo contest to the NEPSA Awards. Prior to the film screenings, fans will view your photos gallery-style and vote on the best of the best.



The Parameters:

  • Photos must have been taken during the 16/17 winter season or summer 2017.
  • Submit photos in high res format for printing (you will be sent an upload link after you register)
  • Each photographer can submit 3-5 photo per category for judging.
  • ASC staff will narrow down the submissions to our favorite 10 images in each category and they will be printed for audience judging at the event.
  • Photos will be judged in categories: Best Action Shot, Most Creative and Best Scenic.
  • All submissions are due no later than SEPTEMBER 22, 2017
  • $1,800 cash purse at stake. All 3 categories will pay out 1st - $300, 2nd - $200 & 3rd - $100


SHORT FILM CONTEST

Hey content creators! We know you've been filming all year, we see those GoPros and professional cameras out there on the mountain all season. Edit your footage and submit it to win some cash dollars. Impress us, impress your friends, make everyone laugh and get the crowd stoked for the season.


THE PARAMETERS:


  • Video submissions must be under 5 minutes long.
  • NEW! There are no themes, we suggest they be ski/snowboard related and be done well.
  • Films will be judged on: creativity, editing, quality, cinematography, and all-around stoke.
  • Films may be subjected to a pre-elimination process at our discretion.
  • All submissions are due no later than SEPTEMBER 22, 2017
  • $1750 cash purse at stake. Top 3 films will receive 1st - $1000, 2nd - $500 & 3rd - $250
  • Note: Films will be shown as part of a series of professional short films.
  • No swearing, no nudity, no drugs. Period.
