Celebrate Snowmass’s 50th at Elk Camp Restaurant from 5 - 9 pm. Wear your most fabulous retro ski fashion while feasting on 50 years of the finest mountain cuisine, enjoy throwback cocktails to mark the decades, dance in your ski boots to live music and gather ‘round the birthday cake as we wish Snowmass another amazing 50 years. Breathtaker Alpine CoasteR
Aspen Snowmass is excited to unveil its newest attraction, the Breathtaker Alpine Coaster. Riders will wind their way through over a mile of forest on an elevated track at speeds of up to 28mph. The coaster is located at Snowmass, adjacent to Elk Camp Restaurant, and will be open every day through early April in conjunction with winter lift operations, as well as during Ullr Nights.
Sightseeing on Elk Camp Chairlift
Don't feel like skiing or riding? Use your $6.50 lift ticket and ride the Elk Camp Gondola from Snowmass Base Village to the top, then hop on the Elk Camp Chairlift for panoramic views of Maroon Bells, Pyramid Peak and the Cirque. Chairlift will run 8am - 3:30pm.

Relive the Snowmass Tradition of Banana Days. Go bananas hunting for 1,967 plastic bananas hidden around the mountain, Base Village, and the Snowmass Mall, following clues on the radio and social media for chances to win prizes big and small, including the Grand Banana Prize of an Antigua beach vacation. Head up to a Elk Camp for a banana-tastic after party from 1:30 - 3:30pm on Saturday.

Come out for a community picnic at Ullrhof. We'll be serving timeless comfort food including meatloaf, mashed potatoes, a vegetarian option, and more for $19.67 per person. Click here to learn more.
Anniversary Après SKi
Friday DeC. 15 & Saturday Dec. 16
Top off a day of skiing and riding with an Après Ski Party at Snowmass Base Village from 11am - 4pm on Friday featuring live music from DJ GeoDecibel, and from 11am - 4pm on Saturday featuring music from DJ Benny. Or, if family fun is more your speed, enjoy face painting, clowns, and balloon animals in the kids zone. On Friday, enjoy a champagne toast at 3pm and sparkling grape juice for the kiddos.

Learn the fascinating details of Snowmass history, from Ice Age mastodons to Ute Indians to ranching families to the modern-day resort, during twice-daily on-mountain tours all season long. Meet at 10:30 am at the top of Sam’s Knob and 1:30 pm at Elk Camp, by the trail map.

REd Bull Air Force Wing Jump

At noon on Dec. 15, members of the Red Bull Air Force team will jump out of planes 5,000 feet above Snowmass and perform air stunts as they approach the landing zone on Fanny Hill. Now that’s something in the spirit of Stein Eriksen’s opening day stunt!
In honor of the historic Burlingame cabin jump, cruise through the terrain park during the weekend celebration where a gondola cabin will be installed as a terrain park feature.
