Volunteer Information

If you are interested in being a part of the event we have a number of volunteer positions that we are looking to fill. In partnership with U.S. Ski & Snowboard Association (USSA) and Aspen Valley Ski & Snowboard Club (AVSC), Aspen Skiing Company (ASC) will be managing the volunteer program for the event.


Volunteer Dates
– January 7th to the 14th
Work Times– 8am to 3pm (may vary depending on the assigned position and weather conditions)
Location– The competition will take place on Snowmass Mountain in the terrain park that is mid mountain near the Spider Sabich Picnic Palace and the Snowmass Base Village Conference Center is going to be the administrative hub for the event.


In addition to supporting this exciting event, volunteers will receive a custom event branded gift, lunch each day, drink vouchers for après each day and a thank you party on the 14th including dinner, drinks and prize giveaways. Those that commit to 3 or more days will receive gear from one of the event apparel sponsors. The value of the gift increases based on the number of days worked. If your daily assigned position requires lift access, single day lift tickets will be provided to those without season passes.


Guest Services

Support spectators, competitors and staff by providingdirection to event services andattractions, answeringquestions and distributingprograms, start lists or any other event information.


Assist catering staff with serving meals and bussing tables at the on-mountain hospitality area.

Anti-Doping Control

Assist the doping control staff by escorting selected athletes to the drug testing area. A commitment of 2 days is required asyou will need to go through training on your first day.

Help distribute supplies to various areas around the venue. Requires the ability to walk for long periods of time and ability to carry 25lbs. Must be able to ski at an expert level.

Scoreboard Attendant
Write down the scores of each athlete during competition.

Check access credentials of athletes, support staff, media and guests in various areas around the venue. Assist with crowd control near the finish corrals.

Slip Crew
Help maintain the snow surface during competition by sliding sideways down the slope or pipe courses and smoothing out the snow using your skis or snowboard. Must be an advanced level skier or snowboarder.
