Spectators are encouraged to check out all the action, with convenient venue access just uphill from the Spider Sabich Picnic Palace located at mid-mountain on Snowmass. You can access the venue on skis or on foot.


  • Paid Parking:Paid Parking is available in the Base Village Parking Garage. First hour is free. $5.00 each additional hour. $30.00 daily maximum. Paid parking is enforced from 7am – 5pm. Weekly parking passes for the garage are available at the attendant booth.
  • Free Parking:Free parking is available in the Town Park Station (also known as the Rodeo lot) located at the entrance to Snowmass. Shuttles depart starting at 6:40 a.m. every 20 minutes from 6:30 to 7:10 a.m. and 5:20 to 6:20 p.m. 10-minute service takes place between 7:10 a.m. to 5:20 p.m. and drop-off at the Snowmass Base Village Transportation Center which is right next to the Base Village Conference Center.
  • To reach the venue on skis or snowboard, take the Village Express Chair (VX). Unload at the VX Midstation and ski down the Velvet Falls Trail to Spider Sabich.
  • Non-skiers may reach the venue by hiking up from the Top Of the Village Shuttle Stop. Take the Dawdler trail to the bottom of Velvet Falls Trail, then proceed up the west side of the trail to the venue. Hikers will climb just over 400ft. across the half mile distance to the venue, and can expect to take 10-20 minutes depending on fitness level.
  • Ride the Coney Glade chair to get an up close and personal look at the Slopestyle Venue. To return to the venue, take the Coney Glade trail to the Village Express Midstation, then ski down Velvet Falls back to the Spider Sabich Picnic Palace


  • Snowmass Village Shuttle:The Town of Snowmass Village provides free shuttle service to almost any location in the Village. Buses depart from the shuttle terminal located just below the Village Mall on Daly Lane, and travel eight routes within the Village’s bus system. (See all of the Routes, Maps & Schedules for areas served within the Village.) Combined routes provide service between the Snowmass Center and the Village Mall every 10 minutes from 7:10 a.m. to 12:30 a.m.
  • Roaring Fork Transportation Authority:The Roaring Fork Transportation Authority (RFTA) provides transportation services on a year-round basis. Free buses operate within the city of Aspen and between Snowmass Village and Aspen. Fare buses transport passengers to other points in the Roaring Fork Valley (Aspen to Glenwood Springs). Free shuttle service also connects all four ski areas — Snowmass, Aspen, Highlands, and Buttermilk. For free skier shuttle schedules, call RFTA directly at 970-925-8484, or visit the RFTA website.

  • From Aspen Airport (15 minutes, 7.4 miles): Take Colorado Highway 82 west to Brush Creek Road. Turn Left onto Brush Creek Road. At the traffic circle, take the 1 exit and stay on Brush Creek Road toward Snowmass Village. See below for parking details.
