Answer: The Ikon Pass is the new standard in season passes for winter 2018-2019. North America’s top destinations have joined together to offer skiers and riders 12 destinations from Alterra Mountain Company and 11 premier destination partners. The Ikon Pass offers the opportunity to access unique terrain, join a like-minded community, and experience the most iconic mountains in North America.

Question: Does Alterra Mountain Company now own the partner destinations?
Answer:
No, all destination partners remain independent. POWDR operates . Killington Resort, Copper Mountain Resort, Eldora Mountain Resort, and Snowbird; Aspen Skiing Company operates Aspen Snowmass; Boyne Resorts operates Big Sky Resort, Loon, Sunday River, and Sugarloaf; Alta and Jackson Hole Mountain Resort are independent entities. Alterra Mountain Company operates Steamboat and Winter Park Resort in Colorado; Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows, Mammoth Mountain, June Mountain and Big Bear Mountain Resort in California; Stratton in Vermont; Snowshoe in West Virginia; Tremblant in Quebec, Blue Mountain in Ontario; Deer Valley Resort in Utah; and CMH Heli-Skiing & Summer Adventures in British Columbia.

Question: What will happen to Aspen Snowmass pass products for 2018-2019?
Answer:
There will be no change to existing Aspen Snowmass pass products including Premier, Flex, Double Flex, and the Mountain Collective Pass will be complementary to the Ikon Pass program. Classic Passes will be available for renewal this spring.

Question: Will the Mountain Collective be available for winter 2018/2019?
Answer:
Yes, the Mountain Collective will still be available for winter 2018/2019. Please click here for more information.

Question: Is CMH Heli-Skiing & Summer Adventures included in the Ikon Pass?
Answer:
Ikon Pass holders will have access to early winter booking benefits and summer discounts.

Pass privileges will range from full unlimited access to to a set number of days that will vary by destination. More details to be released in the coming weeks.

Question: How much does the Ikon Pass cost and when will it go on sale?
Answer:

Question: Will snowboarding be allowed at Deer Valley or Alta in 2018-2019?
Answer:
At this time, there is no change in operations at either destination, and snowboarders will not have access.

Question: What will happen to my local pass at my home mountain for 2018-2019?
Answer:
Local passes will vary, please contact your local mountain. If you are enquiring about an industry pass or other pass issued only by your local mountain, please contact the person or department you have worked with in the past for more information.
