Established in 2017, the Caring for Community Fund is governed by an independent employee board and staffed by Aspen Skiing Company’s Sustainability department — similar to the Environment Foundation. Employees of Aspen Skiing Company contribute to the Fund and donations are matched by a 2-for-1 contributions from the Aspen Skiing Company. The fund is directed by an employee board.
