Our School is in session! Our ski and snowboard Pros can’t wait to be back on the slopes to deliver the same acclaimed services, insider intel, and commitment to excellence to take your skills to the next level, now with new safety measures in place. Group lessons will be smaller and the teams are working to ensure that the check-in process is smoother than ever so that you and your pro can get out and start learning faster than ever. Your wellbeing comes first and foremost when working with our Ski & Snowboard School staff, but we also are here to take your skiing or riding skills to the next level. Learning to ski or snowboard is a journey we are honored to embark on with you and our pros are here to make your experience that much more memorable and seamless!

Question: When and where will I meet my ski or snowboard Pro?
Answer: Meeting times and locations will vary. Please see the chart below for reference.
Q: Are Private Lessons and Guided Experiences limited to 5 people?
A: Yes, Private Lessons and Guided Experiences have been, and will continue to be, limited to 5 people. This provides the best experience for our guests.
Q: How can I complete waivers and registration forms ahead of time?
A: Guests can visit the Aspen Snowmass account portal or the Aspen Snowmass App to complete Ski & Snowboard School waivers and registration forms ahead of time.
Q: Are reservations required for Ski and Snowboard School Lessons or Clinics?
A: Yes. Reservations are required for all Ski and Snowboard School products, including Clinics, Group Lessons, Private Lessons and Guided Experiences. We strongly encourage reserving in advance. Reservation can be booked online at aspensnowmass.com or by calling one of our agents at 877-308-7859.
Q: When I book a Private Lesson or Guided Experience, what can I expect in terms of added perks?
A: Guests who book a Private Lesson or Guided Experience can set the meeting time and location as well as curate their experience and agenda for the day with the insight and knowledge from their Pro. Lessons also give priority line access when loading our chairlifts and gondolas.
Q: Is childcare available this year?
A: Yes, we are pleased to be able to offer childcare at the Treehouse Kids' Adventure Center during the 2021-2022 season for our youngest guests, ages 8 weeks to 4 years. Childcare is not available to purchase online. To book in advance, please call 970-923-1227. (Childcare is available for purchase in resort, however advance reservations are strongly recommended as spots are limited.)
Q: Do child lessons still include lunch?
A: Yes, all full-day child lessons, ages 12 and under include lunch.
Q: Are you still providing storage and transfer with Private Lessons and Guided Experiences this year?
A: Yes, Private Lesson and Guided Experience guests will still be able to store and transfer their skis, snowboards and poles to the mountain of their choice for free.
Q: Will the Treehouse Kids’ Adventure Center and the Hideout at Buttermilk be open for children’s group lessons?
A: Yes, these facilities will still serve as a home base for ages 2.5- to 4-year-old group lessons for all guests. All safety protocols will be followed when children are indoors.
Q: Will guests be required to wear masks while in lessons?
A: The health, safety, and welfare of our employees, guests, and community is our top priority. With this in mind, we will continue to monitor the Covid-19 situation including mask requirements. At this time, guests are not required to wear masks while outside and participating in lessons or clinics. However, due to licensing policies all guests, regardless of age and/or vaccination status are required to wear masks while inside the Treehouse Kids’ Adventure Center.
Q: What’s your cancellation policy?
A: All Ski and Snowboard School products cancelled or changed 48 hours or more in advance are fully refundable.
Q: Will Ski & Snowboard School products continue to change throughout the season?
A: In support of safety efforts and variations in Covid-19 guidelines, levels, and health protocols, the Ski & Snowboard Schools reserve the right to change or cancel lesson or clinic products. We will make every attempt to notify guests should a change occur.
