Free Mountain-Orientation Tours

Ambassadors greet skiers and riders to provide information, trail maps and grooming reports. FREE mountain-orientation tours are offered daily 10:30 am and 1:30 pm for skiers and snowboarders of intermediate levels or above. See trail maps for times and locations. More information here.

First Tracks

Early bird gets the turns! Join our staff for an early morning first run of the day on freshly groomed snow or powder! Space is limited. Advance reservations must be made through your Aspen Snowmass Sales Manager and a valid lift ticket/season pass is required.

What to expect:

  • Group First Tracks at Snowmass are available Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday
  • Arrive at the bottom of the Elk Camp Gondola by 7:50am. Groups leave at 8am and will not load any latecomers
  • Guests must be 18 years of age or older and blue zone and up skiers or snowboarders
  • Pick up your lift ticket the day prior to First Tracks. Ticket offices are not open before the lift loads
  • Do not put your equipment in overnight storage the night prior. Storage corrals are not open before the lift loads
  • There will be time for one to two runs
  • Guests will be lead by a ski or snowboard Pro and all guests must stay with the group
  • Minimum group size is 10, maximum is 30
