Snowmass Balloon Festival
Due to significant rain this week, the fire restrictions in Pitkin County were lifted! Balloons allowed to launch!

The iconic Snowmass Balloon Festival returns to Snowmass Village for its 50th year. Spectators are encouraged to walk right up, drive in, or hike up to take in the sights of 15 hot air balloons taking flight each morning. After you’ve seen the balloons in all their beauty, stroll the Snowmass Mall or Base Village to enjoy breakfast or brunch.
The balloons will take flight from 7:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday, and the popular Night Glow will illuminate the night on Friday evening.
