The Aspen Snomwass Junior Freeride returns to Snowmass March 15th. The excitement returns as big mountain skiers ages 12 to 18 tackle this iconic venue. The Aspen Snowmass Junior Freeride is an IFSA-sanctioned junior regional and part of the Rocky Mountain Freeride Series. Winners will feed into national competitions. Skiers are judged on line choice, fluidity, control, technique, style, and energy. TEssential Information
VENUE
Snowmass - more information about the specific runs will be released at the athlete meeting at 5pm on March 14thDIVISIONS (SKI)
· 12-14 Division - Athletes are 12 to 14 years old.
· 15-18 Division - Athletes are 15 to 18 years old.
WAIVERS
All competitors under 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian.REGISTRATION

VIRTUAL CHECK-IN, ATHLETE MEETING & AWARDS
For everyone's safety we will be conducting virtual athlete check in, athlete meeting and awards. Check back for more info as we get closer to the event.PARKING
Teams can park in the Base Village Parking Garage for up to an hour at no cost when first coming to registration. There is a pickup/dropoff zone and 30 min parking near the Treehouse (40 Carriage Way, Snowmass Village, CO 81615) in Base Village that is in close proximity to the Limelight Hotel. Paid Parking is available in the Base Village Parking Garage. The first hour is free. $5.00 each additional hour. $30.00 daily maximum. Paid parking is enforced from 7am – 5pm. Weekly parking passes for the garage are available at the attendant booth.
Free parking is available in the Town Park Station (also known as the Rodeo lot) located at the entrance to Snowmass. Shuttles depart starting at 6:40 a.m. and drop-off at the Snowmass Base Village Transportation Center which is a short walk from the Limelight Hotel.

TRANSPORTATION
Snowmass Village Shuttle The Town of Snowmass Village provides its own free shuttle service to almost any location in the Village. Buses depart from the shuttle terminal located just below the Village Mall on Daly Lane and travel eight routes within the Village’s bus system. (See all of the Routes, Maps & Schedules for areas served within the Village.) Combined routes provide service between the Snowmass Center and the Village Mall every 10 minutes from 7:10 a.m. to 12:30 a.m.
Roaring Fork Transportation Authority
The Roaring Fork Transportation Authority (RFTA) provides transportation services on a year-round basis. Free buses operate within the city of Aspen and between Snowmass Village and Aspen. Fare buses transport passengers to other points in the Roaring Fork Valley (Aspen to Glenwood Springs). Free shuttle service also connects all four ski areas — Snowmass, Aspen, Highlands, and Buttermilk. For free skier shuttle schedules, call RFTA directly at 970-925-8484, or visit the RFTA website.

REFUND POLICY
Entry fees will be refunded only to athletes with a valid medical reason under the following provisions: Entry fees will be refunded if requested 1 week prior to the first day of event onsite registration. Participants must have a valid medical reason and documentation, each case will be reviewed. A 25% service charge will be deducted from all refunds. All refunds are at the sole discretion of Aspen Snowmass. Absolutely no refunds will be given after the above date regardless of reason and no refunds will be given due to event cancellation.
