Caring For Community Race

The Caring for Community Race showcases a unique route on various trails, bike paths, and sidewalks around Aspen and is an off-season highlight for many local runners. This year, a variety of course options will be offered, including a 10K, 5K, and 1 Mile family and dog fun run.

UPDATE: The race will now be held virtually. Registrants will still receive a custom Helly Hansen tech shirt, medal and race bib that will be available for local pickup or mailed. Racers have until November 6th to enter their race time. Please see the virtual event instructions below.

All proceeds will benefit the Caring For Community Fund. Caring for Community is dedicated to serving communities from Aspen to Parachute through the funding of organizations which help facilitate a strong, healthy, supportive and productive community.

Caring For Community Virtual Race Instructions
The is a virtual race where you will time yourself on a course that is 10K, 5K or 1 Mile and then self-report your time via your racer profile page as follows:
1. Navigate to Webscorer / Profiles / My racer profile
2. Tap "upcoming races"
3. Tap on the "enter time" button
If you did not create a profile on webscorer when you registered it may not let you enter your own time. If that is the case please send the time to aspenevents@aspensnowmass.com and we will add it to the race results.


Cost:
10K & 5K Race: $40 donation to Caring for Community - includes a participation medal, 1 Helly Hansen T-shirt and race bib.

1 Mile Family & Dog Fun Run: $40/family donation to Caring for Community - includes a participation medal, 1 Helly Hansen T-shirt and race bib.

Online registration is now open and will close at the end of the day on November 5th.

Aspen Skiing Company Employees: Free entry if you sign up for paycheck donation to the Caring for Community fund or a discounted donation of $30 if you are already a Caring for Community donor.
