The 2023 Audi FIS Ski World Cup and the return of America’s Downhill™ is officially in the books. What a thrill it was to have the racers back in town, fans packing the stands and lining the courses from top to bottom, and all of Aspen buzzing with the excitement of the White Circus. Thanks to everyone who made it a great event.

Watch the action for free from the finish arena near the base of the Shadow Mountain Lift with grandstands, live announcers, a big screen and the awards ceremony to follow the races.

The finish arena entrance is a short walk Monarch Street from downtown Aspen or accessible with the Audi Event Shuttle. The sidelines of the course offer spectator viewing on the mountain with access via the Silver Queen Gondola, FIS and Ruthie’s lifts. A valid lift ticket is required to access the lifts for viewing along the course. Shadow Mountain Lift will not be open to the public during the races. The finish arena grandstands and VIP Lounge will be open at 10am on Friday and Saturday and 9am on Sunday with complimentary Audi Event Shuttle available at the intersection of Durant & Mill Streets and the venue entrance located at Monarch & Summit Streets.

Where to Watch the Races

In Person
Attendees can catch the races live from the finish arena grandstands for free. Located at the base of Shadow Mountain lift and accessed from the top of Monarch Street, the arena has great sight lines for races, and the viewing area will include a big screen, timing board, and live commentary and entertainment. The America’s Downhill™ course is unique with on-mountain viewing opportunities dotted throughout the track. Keep in mind, lift tickets and skiing are required to view various sections of the course on-mountain.
Dogs are not permitted at this event.

Watch From Home
New this racing season, Audi FIS World Cup alpine, cross country, freestyle, snowboard, and freeski events held in the United States will be available to stream on all Outside+ platforms, including outsideonline.com, skimag.com, the Outside App, and Outside Watch. Live coverage is available on CNBC at 11am March 4 and 10am March 5. Delayed coverage will be available globally on NBC.

ADA Event Access
ADA event access is available from Challenge Aspen, via drop-off at the top of Aspen Street with transfer to the viewing area. Please text Challenge Aspen at 970-230-1460 to make arrangements. Advance notice is highly recommended.

Audi Fan Zone
Intermediate or advanced skiers can view the action of the course’s infamous Airplane Turn from a mid-mountain big screen in the Audi Fan Zone.

Parking
There is no parking at the finish arena. Paid street parking is available in downtown Aspen, and there is additional parking at the Rio Grande Parking Garage. FREE parking is available at the Brush Creek Intercept Lot with free RFTA shuttles to Aspen.
