Unique to the 2025–2026 season, The Hot Dogger at Spider Sabich is an on-slope throwback to Aspen freestyle’s golden era. Serving up casual classics from Sumo Dog, this new ski-in/ski-out spot is brought to life by Olympic skier Alex Ferreira’s alter ego Hotdog Hans. It’s the perfect pit stop for a classic Sumo Dog or loaded tots, where every bite pays tribute to the bold tricks and carefree spirit of the good old days.
Hot Dog Hans
Hotdog Hans is the cantankerous alter ego of Olympic skier Alex Ferreira, a larger-than-life character who claims to have invented half the tricks you see today. Equal parts prankster, storyteller, and washed-up freestyle legend, Hans roams the slopes with humor, bravado, and a serious love for hot dogs. Think of him as your guide to the golden era of Aspen freestyle—part ski hero, part mischief-maker, all attitude.
Spider Sabich for Groups
The Spider Sabich Picnic Palace is available for private groups, ranging in size from 25 to 1000 people, with indoor seating for up to 50.
