The Buckhorn Cabin Experience offers you and your group the perfect place to enjoy Aspen Snowmass. Located atop one of the most scenic peaks in the Rocky Mountains, Buckhorn Cabin is a classic Alpine warming hut that has stood at the base of Peanut Butter Ridge for many years. Gather a group for a private on-mountain meal or rent the space for ski-in/ski-out group events.

Buckhorn Ski-In Experience

Ideal for groups who want to start the day on the slopes. Spend the morning exploring Aspen Mountain, then ski the traverse to Buckhorn Cabin. Take a seat at sheepskin-covered chairs while a private chef prepares a personalized four-course meal, with two menu options available. Optional wine service is available to complement the dishes. Buckhorn Après Snowcat Experience

Perfect for guests who prefer a more relaxed approach, including corporate groups or those who may not ski. Board a private snowcat to the cabin and enjoy the same chef-prepared four-course meal with two menu options, accompanied by optional wine service. Guests descend via snowcat at the end of the experience and receive a complimentary gift. Accommodates up to 22 guests. To book, email experiences@aspen.com.

Buckhorn Cabin Rental

Buckhorn Cabin is available for public rentals this season from Friday, December 12 through Friday, April 17 at $450 per day. The venue will host up to three public rentals per week, Monday through Sunday, on a first-come, first-served basis. Rentals include use of the cabin, grill, propane, two picnic tables, and Adirondack chairs. All supplies must be loaded onto the gondola by 8am and Ski Patrol cannot transport alcohol.
