SEASON PASS REFUNDS
All unused 2020-2021 season passes are fully refundable through November 20, 2020. After November 20, 2020 passes are nonrefundable and unused days have no value. However, Multi-Event Insurance through Travel Guard is available for purchase to cover your investment. Click here to learn more about Travel Guard.

If we are shut down due to Covid-19 for 10 or more days of the season, we will issue refunds, prorated for each day we are fully shut down compared to our published season dates, for all Aspen Snowmass passes, except the Valley 7-Pack and Classic Pass. For example, if we are forced to shut down entirely for a total of 25% of the days during our published season dates, then all passholders would receive a 25% refund of the purchase price. Refunds will not be issued in the event we implement a reservation system. For the Ikon pass refund policy please see their website. For the Mountain Collective refund policy please see their website.

RESERVATIONS
Reservations may be required based on prevailing state and local Covid-19 metrics as determined by health and government agencies. Should these metrics show an increased rate of community spread that initiates additional restrictions and regulations, we may implement a reservations system across all products. If this happens we cannot guarantee that every passholder will be able to obtain a reservation on the days they want. The system can flex based on changing metrics.

If we launch a reservations system, we will let everyone know through targeted emails, via our website and through social media platforms. We will do our best to give everyone as much advance notice as possible. You may join our email list below to ensure you are receiving communications in a timely manner to better prepare for your trip.

  • Subject to all terms and conditions of the pass agreement, season passes offer access to our four mountains when they are open and operating for the public. We are skiers at heart who want to ski every day we are able. However, Aspen Skiing Company makes no guarantees about season length, opening and closing dates, or that the mountains will all be open every day

Circumstances, including snow, wind, avalanche, weather conditions, health concerns, public safety or other unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control, may require us to limit access to our mountains for a period of time. When access is limited for any reason, you may not be able to utilize your pass.

2020-2021 Season passes are nonrefundable after November 20, 2020. Travel Guard’s Multi-Event insurance plan can help cover your investment if you need to cancel your season pass for covered reasons prior to the beginning of the ski season or if other covered unforeseen circumstances arise during the ski season. Season passes are nontransferable. Fraudulent use is illegal and violators will be charged a fee and face possible revocation of ski/riding privileges.

    OTHER DETAILS
Passholder must be of indicated age as of February 15, 2021, in order to qualify for corresponding pass.
  • Business Qualifications: To purchase Chamber passes a business must be located and operated in the Roaring Fork Valley and must be a current member of the Chamber of Commerce in the community in which the business is operating. The business needs to provide local mailing and physical addresses.

Owner/Manager/Employee Qualifications: Only owners, managers, and employees living in the Roaring Fork Valley (as their primary residence) AND working a minimum of twenty (20) hours per week during the winter season are eligible for the discounted season passes. Non-working owners, friends, contract laborers and consultants are NOT eligible. Real estate agents and brokers affiliated with a registered brokerage firm are eligible.

Spouse Qualifications: Only spouses of owners, managers and employees living in the Roaring Fork Valley (as their primary residence) are eligible. The owner, manager and employee must meet the qualifications above in order for the spouse to qualify. To verify eligibility spouses must be able to provide legal documentation such as a Marriage Certificate, Common Law Affidavit or Civil Union Certificate if audited.

Where to Purchase: Chamber pass vouchers must be purchased in person at an Aspen Snowmass ticket office, and the appropriate Chamber of Commerce voucher must be presented at the time of purchase to verify eligibility.

Payment Requirements: Payment to Aspen Skiing Company for all Chamber pass vouchers must be made by company check or company credit card. There is a $10,000 per business limit for credit card purchases per season. Personal credit cards will only be accepted from the business owner whose name appears on the Chamber of Commerce voucher. Personal checks and cash will not be accepted.

Pass Upgrades: Chamber passes may be upgraded by the employee/spouse at the time of voucher redemption. The cost of the upgraded pass is determined by the pricing season in which the initial voucher was purchased. Upgraded passes remain the property of the business, regardless of who pays for the cost of the upgrade.

Pass Transfers: Chamber passes may be permanently transferred from one employee/spouse of the business to another for a fee of $50. Once transferred, a pass may NOT be transferred back to the same employee/spouse. If a business needs to revoke a pass from an employee/spouse, the business must first inform the employee/spouse that their pass is no longer valid and then contact Aspen Skiing Company (970-925-1220) so access for that pass can be blocked. The business must deliver the season pass to a ticket office or provide the season pass number over the phone or a $20 fee will be assessed. Passes that are not blocked expose the business to a noncompliant audit.

Voucher Refunds: Unused 2020-2021 Chamber pass vouchers may be returned to Aspen Skiing Company for full refunds through February 15, 2021. Refunds will NOT be provided after February 15, 2021. Once a voucher has been turned into a pass it becomes nonrefundable even if the pass is never used. Chamber pass vouchers should be treated like cash and should be kept in a safe place until redeemed.

How Employees Redeem Discount Pass Vouchers: Owners, managers, employees and spouses of the business may redeem their Chamber voucher at any ticket office or by phone if they had a season pass in a previous season and wish to use their existing Aspen (radio-frequency) Card. They must provide the voucher number over the phone. Once the voucher is redeemed over the phone, that voucher number is inactivated and the voucher should be thrown away to eliminate confusion.

Season Pass Insurance: Travel Guard’s Ski Pass Insurance plan can provide coverage for events that happen beyond your control. It can help cover your ski pass investment if you need to cancel your season pass for covered reasons prior to the beginning of the ski season or if other covered unforeseen circumstances arise during the ski season. The insurance may be purchased by either the business or the individual but must be purchased under the passholder’s name. Since Chamber passes are the property of the business all reimbursements from covered claims will go to the business.

Chamber Pass Audit: A random audit of businesses will be performed each year to ensure compliance with the Chamber pass program. Businesses that do not submit information at the request of the Chamber or are found to be in noncompliance will incur a fine. Please call your local chamber for any questions about the audit.
  • Uphilling has become synonymous with Aspen Snowmass. We will continue to honor this important part of our Valley’s athletic culture while maintaining safety and flexibility for all.

Buttermilk, Snowmass and Aspen Highlands will still provide uphilling access during operating hours. Aspen Mountain will remain status quo with no uphill access allowed during operating hours due to skier safety.

New this year, uphillers will need to remain on designated, signed routes during operating hours. Other changes will include no uphilling during Holiday blackout periods and closures on the designated routes may be possible due to capacity challenges. If we all adhere to and follow limitations during Holiday blackout periods and peak times, this will help ensure that we can all keep uphilling and skiing through the entire ski season.

During operating hours, the designated uphilling routes will be treated much like a ski trail with an open or closed sign signaling if access is available at that time. We ask that all uphillers check the Aspen Snowmass App before heading out to see if their selected route is open. Climb on!
