Q: What are the 2021-2022 season dates?
A: We’ll open Snowmass and Aspen Mountain for the season on November 25, 2021
- Snowmass and Aspen Mountain: November 25, 2021 - April 17, 2022
- Aspen Highlands: December 11, 2021 - April 10, 2022
- Buttermilk: December 11, 2021 - April 3, 2022
Q: Last season you offered multi-day lift tickets starting at 4 days. Will you offer 2-day and 3-day lift tickets?
A: For the 2021-2022 winter season multi-day lift tickets will start at 2-days.
Q: For how long are lift tickets valid?
A: 1-day tickets are valid for the date specified only. 2–7-day tickets are valid out of a 10-day window from the start date specified.
Q: What is the refund policy regarding Covid-19?
A: If we are shut down due to Covid-19 for 10 or more days of the season, we will issue refunds, prorated for each day we are fully shut down compared to our published season dates, for all passes, except the Valley Pass.
Our published season dates are November 25, 2021 through April 17, 2022. For example, if we are forced to shut down entirely for a total of 25% of the days during our published season dates, then all passholders would receive a 25% refund.
All passes may be subject to a reservation system if we need to implement one. Refunds will not be issued in the event we implement a reservation system regardless of whether you are able to obtain a reservation for your desired days. It is our intention to have some inventory of lift tickets available to purchase every day of the season, but we urge you to buy in advance for the greatest peace of mind. If we need to address skier volume, window sales may be limited and those who have already secured their tickets will be given priority access.
Completely unused lift tickets are fully refundable, and the remaining dollar value on partially-used lift tickets are eligible for in-resort credit, usable for the remainder of the current season as well as next season.
Q: Can any of your policies change due to Covid-19?
A: While we are all hopeful that the worst of the Covid Pandemic is behind us, we know it is too soon to say that Covid is beaten. Recognizing the uncertainty surrounding a global pandemic, know that your safety and our safety is priority for us. We reserve the right to implement protocols, processes and protections at any point in the season as we reasonably believe are appropriate or necessary to support the safety of our guests, our employees and our community.
Q: Will you require proof of a vaccine to access Aspen Snowmass mountains and facilities?
A: We are not currently requiring proof of vaccination for access, however, the health, safety, and welfare of our employees, guests, and community is our top priority. With this in mind, we will continue to monitor the Covid-19 situation including travel restrictions and vaccine mandates locally, nationally, and globally. We are following the CDC recommendations and strongly encourage vaccinations for all guests. Future actions could include a reservations system, mandatory vaccinations, or additional actions that we believe could help protect employees and guests and allow us to operate for the full .
Q: Why is it more expensive to ski on weekends?
A: We have priced our tickets and passes in a way to help incentivize skiing during non-peak periods, both week-to-week and for the entire season. This strategy is designed to spread the flow of guests and help manage capacity so that we can operate and provide the best guest experience.
Q: How do I bypass the ticket office and minimize in-person contact this season?
A: Purchase your lift tickets, lessons, rentals and activities online or by phone. With at least a 7-day advance purchase, your Aspen Cards can be delivered to your lodging property, or you may pick them up from one of our contactless Pick-Up Boxes at the base of each of our mountains.
