The Lost Forest isn’t hard to find — it’s just hard to see. Tucked in among the trees and rocks at Elk Camp on Snowmass are an alpine coaster, biking trails, ropes challenges and a climbing wall. There are ponds to fish in, creeks to hike along and places to enjoy nature alone or with the whole family. Here, surrounded by wild beauty, you’ll find your next wild adventure. Lost Forest offers adventures with safe distances between groups and minimal close interactions with guides, and all equipment is sterilized between uses.

Guests must select the date and time for their orientation at the time of purchase. Orientations are every 30 minutes from 10:30am to 2:00pm. There is a maximum of 8 participants per orientation session. Guest should plan to arrive to Snowmass Base Village and board the gondola at least 30 minutes prior to their orientation start time.

We apologize for the inconvenience.- 3-hour Canopy Run Zipline Tour: Soar above Snowmass with seven ziplines, three sky bridges, three rappels, and platforms mounted in the trees themselves for a thrilling adventure through the canopy!* (You may choose your tour time upon booking)
- Access to Elk Camp Gondola & Chairlift for 2 out of 7 days, including the day of your Canopy Tour
- Complimentary access to Treeline Trial Challenge Course, Breathtaker Alpine Coaster, Rugged Ascent Climbing Wall, Aerial Approach Disc Golf, Trout Hook Fishing Pond, and Elevated Journeys Hiking Trails for 2 out of 7 days, including the day of your Canopy Tour

While Aspen Snowmass cannot guarantee you a risk-free experience, by each taking personal responsibility, respecting each other and adhering to all local, regional and state health and safety guidelines we can collectively reduce the risks to our guests, our employees and our community. All guests are required to read and comply with the Pitkin County COVID-19 policies and procedures. To read, click here.
If you cannot follow these policies and procedures, you will be asked to leave Aspen Snowmass property.
- Wear a face covering when you cannot maintain 6 feet of physical distancing outdoors, in designated areas and when inside Aspen Snowmass buildings.
- Adhere to Pitkin County social distancing regulations.
- Stay home if you are sick or at high risk.
- Leave immediately if you begin to show signs or symptoms of illness.
- Recreate within your ability to reduce the chance of injury.
In these times we all must make decisions that work for ourselves and consider our own risk profile. We look forward to having you join us at Aspen Snowmass this summer, but want to make sure that you do so fully informed and in a manner that works for you.
Cancellation Policy
Completely unused Lost Forest Base tickets are refundable. Lost Forest Canopy, Treeline, and Bonus Night Base Tickets require 48-hour cancellation notice. No refunds due to weather if operations remain open. No partial refunds.

Summer weather in the Rocky Mountains is unpredictable and out of our control. As a result, we do not offer refunds due to weather impacts on our operation. Please check the forecast while planning your activities.
