Aspen COVID-19 Update03/26/20, 4:15 PMWith the extension of statewide closures, we are officially closing Aspen Mountain and Snowmass for the season. We will continue to consult with state and local officials for the possibility to re-open Aspen Highlands in late April if it is deemed safe and appropriate to do so at that time.
Additionally, our hotels and ancillary businesses are closed until further notice. Projected re-opening dates are as follows:
Limelight Ketchum – April 30, 2020
Limelight Aspen – May 21, 2020
Limelight Snowmass – May 21, 2020
The Little Nell – June 12, 2020
We understand this impacts a huge number of people; our employees, guests, and the community as a whole. We are working closely with local authorities and non-profits to address these issues and if you need help, Pitkin County’s website has a great list of resources and contacts.
For employees, we are offering two additional weeks of scheduled pay to all impacted seasonal workers. We will continue to step up as an employer and do all we can to lessen the blow of this crisis while ensuring we are leading the way to recovery. Let’s work together as a community to support each other and take the necessary precautions to slow the spread of the virus. The more aggressively we take action, the faster we’ll get through it.
