Snowmass loves to celebrate safety all winter, but along with all four Aspen Snowmass mountains, Snowmass will dedicate this week to honor National Safety Month. Starting on Sunday January 17 — and going through Saturday, January 23 — guests will have the chance to meet friendly faces from every department on the mountain and learn about their different operations and relevant safety messages.

Fun, games, and giveaways will abound.

Safety is no accident. Come visit us at Snowmass during our safety week for the unique opportunity to meet the people that work hard — often behind the scenes — to keep our mountain safe and fun. And don’t forget to be responsible and Know the Code for a great skiing and riding experience:

  1. Always stay in control.
  2. People ahead of you have the right of way.
  3. Stop in a safe place for you and others.
  4. Whenever starting downhill or merging, look uphill and yield.
  5. Use devices to help prevent runaway equipment.
  6. Observe signs and warning, and keep off closed trails.
  7. Know how to use the lifts safely.

We’ll see you out there!
