Aspen Snowmass loves to celebrate safety all winter, but each of our four mountains will each dedicate a week of activities, events and clinics to honor National Safety Month. Starting on Thursday, January 5 — and going through the rest of the month of January — guests will have the unique opportunity to meet the people that work hard to keep our mountains safe and fun. You'll get the chance to get up close with and learn about snowcats, to meet our avi dogs and help them train, and even learn life-saving tactics on advanced terrain at Aspen Mountain and Highlands.

Fun, games, and giveaways will abound in addition to unique opportunities to meet the team critical to keeping our mountains and our guests safe.

Also don’t forget to be responsible and Know the Code for a great skiing and riding experience:

  1. Always stay in control.
  2. People ahead of you have the right of way.
  3. Stop in a safe place for you and others.
  4. Whenever starting downhill or merging, look uphill and yield.
  5. Use devices to help prevent runaway equipment.
  6. Observe signs and warning, and keep off closed trails.
  7. Know how to use the lifts safely.

We’ll see you out there!
