About the Restaurant

Our newest on-mountain restaurant is an awe-inspiring place to take a breather from the mountain.

Boasting a graceful, curved roof and stone columns, Elk Camp takes its inspiration from the surrounding Rocky Mountains. Massive windows in the great room bring the beauty of nature indoors. You can find a cozy spot by the fireplace, or set up base camp in the bar area for relaxation and celebration. Elk Camp will be the hub of day and nighttime activity in Snowmass.

Oh, and then there’s the food. Diners will be able to take their pick of organic and locally harvested menu items, such as roasted chicken or pork loin served on a French baguette, or wild mushroom pizza with fontina cheese and white truffle oil. There will also be a wide selection of comfort food and health conscious items to please every member of the family.

For Events and Groups

The Elk Camp lodge holds 250 guests in the great room alone. Additional flexible space is available in the separate bar area and the outdoor patio space. For event planners looking for an environmentally friendly meeting space in the Snowmass or Aspen area, Elk Camp is slated to be LEED certified and will implement advanced heating systems to beat local energy codes by an estimated 30 percent. Fridays Nights at Elk Camp - Valhalla Nights
July 11, 18 and 25; August 1, 5, 8, 12, 15, 19, 29

Snowmass will open for evening activities with Valhalla Nights — an extension of the popular Ullr Nights that takes place in the winter — at Elk Camp this summer on Fridays and select Tuesdays (see dates above).

Come "light up the night" with biking, hiking, live music, movies,  kids activities, drinks and s'mores by the bonfire, and a world-class menu of culinary delights from the Elk Camp kitchen.

When: 4 pm – 9 pm (last gondola service down is at 9 pm)
Cost: Valhalla Nights included with valid daily lift access, or $8 per person after 4 pm.
Children 3 & under are complimentary

The following activities are included with the purchase of a gondola ticket unless otherwise noted:

  • Campfire (s'mores available for purchase)
  • Climbing Wall
  • Live Music, 6–8:30 pm
  • Outdoor BBQ (additional cost, closes at 8:30 pm)
  • Lawn Games
  • Last Ride Up, 8:30 pm (ticket office closes at 8:30 pm)
  • Last Ride Down, 9 pm

Bike Snowmass 
- Bike Snowmass is available until at least 7 pm or until nightfall (not included with the Valhalla gondola ticket).
