NEED A RIDE FROM THE AIRPORT OR AROUND TOWN? No worries - lots of options here, too. Aspen and Snowmass Village are located in the picturesque Roaring Fork Valley.

  • From Denver International Airport (DEN): 220 miles west via I-70 and Colorado 82.
  • From Eagle County Airport (EGE): 70 miles west via I-70 and Colorado 82. 
  • From Grand Junction Regional Airport (GJT): 125 miles east via I-70 and Colorado 82.

Aspen/Pitkin County Airport 
Downtown Aspen is just three miles from the airport and Snowmass Village is only five miles off Colorado 82 via Brush Creek Road.

Free Skier Shuttle Service between all Four Mountains
Free shuttle buses run 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. between the four mountains - Snowmass, Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands and Buttermilk.

RFTA Buses within and between Aspen and Snowmass
The Roaring Fork Transit Authority (RFTA) provides a FREE and extensive bus service within Aspen 2 a.m. Buses between Aspen and Snowmass Village run until 2 a.m for a $3 fare (correct change required). Snowmass Village Shuttle

Amtrak Train Service

Service is provided to Glenwood Springs, 40 miles (64 km) from Aspen, on the California Zephyr. The train travels westbound from Chicago to Oakland, CA and back.
