Aspen/Snowmass will once again host The Meeting, September 24-27, 2009. The Meeting is the premier gathering of snowsports filmmakers, athletes, sponsors, media and fans.

The 2009 event is celebrating its fifth anniversary and continues to be the cornerstone kick-off event for the ski and snowboard industry each season.  The latest snow films will be screened while parties and the third annual D&E Fashion Show will surround the films.  In addition, private sessions with guest speakers and athletes will allow for spirited discussion on the state of the industry. The Movies include 12 ski and snowboard films featuring a broad mixture of established production companies, grass roots upstarts, brand-based features and everything in-between. Each movie will be paired up with another movie and screened in one of the three following venues: Wheeler Opera House, Belly Up Aspen and the Sundeck atop Aspen Mountain.

In 2009 The Meeting will feature the following movies: Matchstick Productions – In Deep, Burton – The B, TGR – Re:Session, Forum – Forever, Poor Boyz Productions – Everyday is a Saturday, A Transworld Snowboarding Production – Get Real, Nimbus Independent – Contrast, JMills Ent - Stance, Level 1 – Refresh, People – Nice Try, Empire Attire – Transitions, BrothersFilm - BLOOD.Tickets are currently available at the Wheeler Opera House and Belly Up respectively.  Each screening at the Wheeler includes two movies and tickets are $10 per screening.  Belly Up pricing is $10 on Thursday, $10 on Friday and $15 on Saturday.  Tickets for the Wheeler movies can be purchased at www.wheeleroperahouse.com or 970-920-5770.
