We have over 1,200 pros across four mountains dedicated to giving you the most amazing experience possible. No matter your age or ability level, we can custom-tailor the appropriate instruction for you, whether you’ve never set foot on snow before, or if you just want a few pointers to improve upon. Private lessons can have up to five participants, so you can form your own fun group.

First time ever? First-time-ever skiers & snowboarders may purchase a special discounted beginner lift & equipment rental package for their first day of private lessons! Ages 7-12, $49; Ages 13 and up, $64
Meeting Places: Aspen Mountain: Private Lesson Desk in the gondola building, next to the ticket office. Aspen Highlands: Private Lesson Desk at the base area next to the ticket office. Buttermilk: Outside the Bumps building at the base, next to the Private Lesson Desk Snowmass: Snowboard - Snowmass Base Village Plaza by the outdoor fireplace located near Base Camp Restaurant. Adults and Teens - Snowmass Base Village Plaza by the private lesson banner. Kids 5-12 years old - Snowmass Base Village Plaza, just outside of the Treehouse Kids’ Adventure Center. Kids 4 years old and younger - Snowmass Base Village Plaza, inside the Treehouse Kids’ Adventure Center in the Snow Cubs lobby.
Rentals: If renting equipment please allow a minimum of one hour to get fitted on your first day, or if your schedule allows, pickup your rentals the evening before your first day on the slopes. Four Mountain Sports rental shops are located at nine locations throughout the bases of our four mountains and include the Treehouse Kids’ Adventure Center at Snowmass as well as the Panda house at Buttermilk.
Helmets: Helmets are REQUIRED for children ages 17 and under participating in Ski & Snowboard Schools programs. Helmets are also required for all participants, regardless of age, when participating in Terrain Park & Pipe lessons. While helmets may reduce the severity of a head injury, the best way to avoid accidents is to know and abide by the skier/rider responsibility code.
