Adult Group Lessons

Whether you are ready to graduate from greens to blues, or you love to shred double black diamonds, we have an adult group lesson tailored for you. Get more out of your performance on the mountain with these lessons.

Offered at: Snowmass // Buttermilk

Note: The below lesson description and pricing pertains to the previous winter season (2013/14). New lesson prices will be announced soon.

Why Take an Adult Group Lesson?

  • No matter your skill level, there is always room to improve and — as a result — enjoy skiing even more. From advanced beginners to experts, adult skiers and riders will find plenty of ways to build confidence with these lessons.
  • Each morning your Pro will develop a lesson plan based on the group’s expectations, skill level and conditions.
  • In this class, our Pros will teach you: Developing skills for all-mountain skiing/riding, carving groomers, master bumps, exploring powder, progressing to steeps, racing, or terrain park and pipe skills.
  • Full-day class runs from 10am–3pm. Be ready to meet your group at 9:45am (see below).
  • Your group lesson is good for any day you chose. There is no need to make a reservation.
  • If possible, get your lift tickets and rentals the day before.
  • Note: Beginner skiers and snowboarders should take Beginner’s Magic Lessons.
  • Aspen Mountain and Highlands: Intermediate to Expert Skiers and Snowboarders may take a Private Lesson. Intermediate to Expert SKIERS may choose our new Performance Coaching clinic.

What to Bring

Policies & Special Considerations

  • Rentals – If renting equipment please allow a minimum of one hour to get fitted on your first day, or if your schedule allows, pickup your rentals the evening before your first day on the slopes. Four Mountain Sports rental shops are located at nine locations throughout the bases of our four mountains and include the Treehouse Kids’ Adventure Center at Snowmass as well as the Panda house at Buttermilk.
  • Helmets – Helmets are required for children ages 17 and under participating in all Ski & Snowboard Schools programs. Helmets are also required for all participants, regardless of age, when participating in Terrain Park & Pipe lessons. While helmets may reduce the severity of a head injury, the best way to avoid accidents is to know and abide by the skier/rider responsibility code.
