KNOW THE RESPONSIBILITY CODE

Kids, we want you to have a great time on our mountains. Please ski and snowboard responsibly and follow THE CODE:

  1. Ski/ride under control so that you can stop at any time.
  2. Avoid skiers/riders downhill from you.
  3. Do not block trails or stop where other skiers/riders can't see you.
  4. Be aware of skiers/riders around you when you start downhill or enter any trail.
  5. Use devices to help prevent runaway equipment.
  6. Please read and respect all signs.
  7. Load, ride and unload our lifts safely.

Kids' trails are marked:  please ski in the direction indicated. These trails were explored and created by kids with their shorter skis and snowboards. Long skis and grown-ups may not fit on these trails!

Helmets - We require children ages 12 and under participating in Ski & Snowboard Schools of Aspen/Snowmass to wear helmets. We strongly recommend helmet use for all skiers and snowboarders, regardless of their age or ability. Understand and abide by The Responsibility Code. Helmets are available at area ski and snowboard shops and all children's ski school meeting areas.

Wrist Guards - Aspen Skiing Company recommends all snowboarders wear wrist guards and protective padding.
