Happy New Year! Wish everyone fun parks and lots of snow! At Snowmass, we are pushing snow for the superpipe and expect to open in the next week or so. Buttermilk has started preperation for X Games already!
Big day today in Parks and Pipes. Buttermilk opened 3 advanced jumps and some jibs on Spruce! And at Snowmass, our new triple line of jumps and the minipipe opened today, following yesterday's opening of the lower jibline section of Bonzai! Merry Christmas!
We are getting closer to getting enough snow to build a second jump on Dawdler! Stay posted! Buttermilk is less then two weeks away, thinks are about ot get twice as good with 2 parks to enjoy.
Mother Nature has blessed us with sunny weather in the past week. It has been great for skiing and riding but less then ideal for making snow... Jump in Dawdler remains open for everyone to enjoy! See this awesome edit with Torin Wallace and Aiden Sheahan.
We will fire up snowmaking in Dawdler again so we can build another jump as soon as possible. This may mean we have to close the existing jump for a couple of days, depending on the conditions. Sorry for the incovenience.
Conditions for natural and man made snow have been really good so far. We will open 5 days early on November 19! We are making snow to have a fun park on opening. Stay tuned for more details! Our friends at AVSC are excited for a new season. See their video from last year's opening.

Lowdown Park opened this morning! Thanks to the hard work of our operators and park crew we were able to pull it off earlier then expected! We are now focusing our efforts on the advanced triple line of jumps on Cabin. Build is going well and we should be able to open in the next few days with a handful of jibs as well.
Opening today at Buttermilk: 3 intermediate level jumps and a couple of jibs on Spruce with more to be added in the next few days. We are also working on setting up our Lowdown Park at Snowmass and might be able to open tomorrow. Let's hope this storm brings a lot of snow!
So much to talk about, where to start from?!?! Buttermilk's world renowned 22ft Superpipe opened Wednesday morning, thanks to the hard work of Yannick Rioux, Dylan Cox and the other operators, as well as SPT's Frank Wells and Mike Binnel. The crew over at Buttermilk is pushing snow to open a couple jumps and 10-15 jibs for the weekend! Over at Snowmass, we are pushing snow on our triple line and ready to install the next section of our park as snowmaking will allow. We will keep you posted.

Opening is just a couple of days away. We are setting up a park on Snowmass and will include some of our new jib features! See this video of our friend of parks and pipes!
Winter storm warning in effect for tonight... 8-16inches from now until tomorrow at 6:00pm! Bring it!
We got a nice white blanket from Mother Nature and also the temperature to get the snowmaking going! We are working hard to get everything ready: rail fabrication, training, etc... Opening is just 16 days away!
Slopes are all white after the storm that passed through earlier this week! Park crews are working hard on refurbishing all our jibs and new jib fabrication is well underway! So far we have built a new down-flat-down box and a donkey rail for Buttermilk. We have also build a round top ollie-on box and started fabrication on a new C-box for Snowmass. Snowmass 22ft pipe will open on Saturday! And so will our entry level park Lowdown, filled with jumps and jibs for getting your feet wet. Couple more pieces to the puzzle!
A couple of days ago we have opened the jib features on Bonzai, just as you get through the gate. You can now ride all the way down the park. Since, we have focused our energy on pushing at the pipe. The piles of snow are so big we have named them Cabin Peak! Expect our pipe to be ready maybe next week. We'll keep you posted.
Happy Holidays! Little Makaha Park on Snowmass will open for the season tomorrow. Come and hit our 3 jumps to get your feet wet! We have also set up a series of jibs for low intermediate and intermediate riders and skiers to enjoy.
Our 22 foot Superpipe is opening TODAY! Check it out.
If everything goes right with testing today, we will open our triple line and a couple jib features in Snowmass Park on Cabin tomorrow. We will add the lower section of the park run (to bottom of Coney Glades chair) Sunday. It will have another jump as well as some jib features. Coney Glades chair will run as of Saturday. Our next build will be focused in Makaha, starting Sunday. We hope to have it opened for Christmas!
Snowmaking is full bloom at Snowmass Park. We have started to push our triple jump line and are looking good for finishing them sometime next week. Little Makaha is also seen the manmade blizzard! With Buttermilk Park opening tomorrow as well, there’s lots of fun to be had!
Snowmass will open another park on Dawdler this morning! It will include an intermediate true-table style jump and a few jibs! We also will ad a jib or two in that park in the next days. See you on the hill!
Snowmaking has been making snow despite warm temperatures. We should have more features opening on Dawdler Bowl on Snowmass before the weekend!
This is it! Tomorrow is opening day! The whole Burn is scheduled to open! Even with the major snowmaking hurdles we encountered, we will still be able to open a few jib features on Lower Velvet for Thanksgiving. Then we are hoping to be able to add to our park offering in the next couple of days by adding more features on Dawdler Bowl, off mid-station. We’ll keep you posted.
Well now it’s very cold and guns have been on full blast since the weekend! With the fresh layer of snow form the last storm, it really feels like winter now! Hope this keeps up. Only 10 days until opening!
Indian summer has been longer then usual… With snow in the forecast for the next couple days, let’s hope it’s all snow and cold from now on! We continue with jib fabrication. Yesterday we constructed a 24ft long mailbox for Buttermilk’s park! We are only two weeks form opening at Snowmass! See you in the park very soon!
The snow guns are fired up! Keep your fingers and toes crossed that the temps stay below 28 degrees for the next two months. Lots of snow makes for BIG, FUN parks!
