Our Athletes

Chris Davenport

Chris Davenport is widely regarded as one of the premier big mountain skiers in the world. Among his many ski mountaineering achievements, in 2007 Chris became the first person to ski all fifty-four of Colorado’s 14,000-foot peaks in less than one year. He has numerous first descents of peaks around the globe, has been featured in more than thirty ski films, and and inductee in both the US Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame and Colorado Snowsports Hall of Fame.

Gretchen Bleiler

Gretchen moved to Aspen at the age of 10 and has been charging on her snowboard ever since. She is an Olympic Silver medalist, 11-time World Cup medalist and a 5-time X Games medalist, including 4 golds. Following her retirement from competitive snowboarding, Gretchen has continued to push her riding in new directions, whether exploring first descents in Northern Iceland or splitboard mountaineering in the backyard Elk Mountain Range.

Torin Yater-Wallace

Torin burst into the scene with a surprise podium at X Games Aspen 2011, his silver medal making him the youngest medalist in Winter X history. After a dominant 2013, season Torin seemed destined to be one of the winningest freeskiers of all time, but a series of frightening illnesses, chronicled in the compelling 2018 documentary film “Back to Life,” derailed those plans. Fully recovered from an injury in the 2018 Dew Tour, he has set his prodigious focus toward ski filmmaking, where he’s sure to redefine the genre with his compelling style and bottomless bag of tricks.

Cassidy Jarrell

US Freeskiing Rookie Team athlete Cassidy Jarrell is a name to watch in superpipe competition for years to come. Still in his twenties and already a veteran of double digit World Cup starts, 3 USASA National Championships, a FIS Jr. World Championships 5th place, and multiple NorAm Cup podiums, Jarrell earned his first coveted X Games invitation in 2020, narrowly missing finals with a run that included large airs and multiple double corks.

Colter Hinchliffe

For Aspen native Colter Hinchliffe, every day is an opportunity to wake up and do something awesome. Colter’s explosive skiing style will be familiar to fans of Teton Gravity Research films, where he has been featured prominently over the last few seasons. Look for Colter in the recent releases, “Winterland” and “The Rise of Red.”
