About the Restaurant

Dining at Snowmass’ Lynn Britt Cabin is more than just simply a meal — it’s an experience. The log cabin was built on historic homestead lands, and its ties to the rustic American West are evident in its cuisine — with dishes like Braised Beef Short Ribs, Duck Confit Risitto, Bison Meatloaf, and the Crispy Skin Chicken served with Green Chili and White Cheddar Mac & Cheese. The rich flavors are the result of top-quality, locally harvested ingredients, which come to life through refined cooking techniques. The Lynn Britt Cabin also offers a lighter lunch menu so that you can keep on skiing for the rest of the day.  The salads are delightful and refreshing and can come with a nice piece of grilled chicken breast or salmon filet along with a cup of elk chili or apple butternut soup.  For the gluten free diner the Cabin offers up a dozen different options so do not hesitate if this is the way you like to dine.
 
The restaurant’s elegant table service and majestic panoramic views of the Snowmass Valley somehow make the food taste even better.  The wine menu offers up many different varietals from Champagne to Chardonnay to Merlot, Red Zinfandel and Pinot Noir.  There are also some high end wines that may surprise your pallet.
 
For those seeking lunch while skiing Snowmass, the cabin has indoor seating for 60 guests and is easily accessed from intermediate runs.  Reservations can be made from the chair lift while riding up the village express lift or ahead of time by calling (970) 923-0479 for lunch.  During peak times we recommend reservations for lunch.   Outdoor seating is delightful when the sun is shining.  The deck faces south and is a wonderful place to have lunch and soak in the scenery.  Lunch seating is first come first serve so make sure to secure your table early.  There is also a fire pit to boot and comfortable decks chair to have a drink in.
 
Snowcat Dinners

In the winter, special Tuesday and Thursday night events* include snowcat transportation to the restaurant from Snowmass Village, a memorable four-course meal with a choice of Grilled Buffalo Sirloin, Pan Roasted Pheasant Breast or Chilean Sea Bass for entrée course.   Dinner starts off with a nice charcuterie plate followed by a soup course and then a family style salad course with a nice Banana-Nutella Bread Pudding to finish.  The cabin provides live entertainment from Rich Ganson who is an acoustic artist with a great sense of humor.  This family-friendly experience is $99 for adults, $57 for children ages 3 to 11 and free for children ages 2 and under. The approximate length of evening is three hours, returning to Base Village around 9 or 9:30 p.m.
