Summer Activities

Snowmass Bike Park encompasses much of the Elk Camp section of Snowmass in summer, offering 2,897 vertical feet of purpose-built downhill trails. But the bike park is not just for gearheads. Beginner terrain is ideal for families and first timers. Come cruise through the forests and meadows and see for yourself.

Ride the gondola to take in the view and enjoy free outdoor activities, trails, and on-mountain dining at the top. Available on the Elk Camp Gondola and chairlift at Snowmass and the Silver Queen Gondola at Aspen Mountain. The new Family Sightseeing Package gets the whole family on the mountain for only $149.

Let them loose. Camp Aspen Snowmass gives kids ages 5–15 the run of the mountain — biking, nature hikes, model rockets, mountainboarding, and more big days than they can count. Single day and multi-day options make it easy to drop in last minute, no week-long commitment required.

Join us for a wild game of outdoor paintball at Snowmass. Outside the Lost Forest, groups can launch strategic campaigns in our Timber Territory Paintball arena. Each player has 300 washable and biodegradable paintballs to take out the opposition, and plenty of man-made and natural features to utilize.
