X Games Aspen, the world’s premier action sports competition, returns to Buttermilk for its 26 consecutive year. Aspen Snowmass and X Games Aspen announced a new three-year host agreement that will bring X Games Aspen to Buttermilk through the 2028-2029 winter, making it one of the longest-running partnerships in action sports history.
Over 100 of the best athletes in skiing and snowboarding will compete in Big Air, Knuckle Huck, Super Pipe and Slopestyle. X Games is free before 5PM each day while Buttermilk is open for skiing.
Roaring Fork Valley Students: The first 500 RFV high-school students will get tickets on first come, first serve basis each day.
Expect live music, athlete meet-and-greets, sponsor activations, and the kind of energy that only happens here.

Limited Time: Buttermilk Deluxe
Make the most of your time on snow with Buttermilk Deluxe, a private lesson experience built around your goals. Available January 5 through February 6, starting at $797 for up to five people. Ski solo or bring friends and family for personalized coaching from a dedicated Pro. Hosted on Buttermilk, the longtime home of X Games Aspen, you'll enjoy focused coaching, a pace that fits your goals, and the flexibility to add more days as you go.
